I’m currently a PhD student and research assistant in the Department of Human-Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) at the University of Washington advised by Dr. Charlotte P. Lee.
My research work focuses on the sociotechnical and organizational aspects of data-intensive collaborative knowledge work of domain scientists. I am particularly interested in the coordinative work involved in producing and integrating large heterogenous datasets for collaborative analysis (using machine learning tools) and how it’s transforming scientific knowledge discovery and the establishment of trust in data, algorithms, and results.
